Hi,

My application is developed and run on the Win server 2003 x64 machine using VS2010 and tried to access the scheduled tasks in another win 7 machine, they are both in the same domain. However, when I use the statement,

TaskService ts = new TaskService("Win7Host", null,null,null, true);

It reports the exception, 'The network path was not dound (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070035)'

The most werid thing is it's all OK for connection from Win 7 to Win server 2003 or for the connection just between two win 7 machines or two Win NT machines. The exception just happens for the connection from Win Server 2003 to Win 7.

Could anyone help me solve this problem. Many thanks.

I would suggest playing around with the machine name ("\\Win7Host", "Win7Host.Domain.com", etc.). I would also try supplying the user credentials in the constructor.

I am having the same problem error when connecting to a workgroup machine. I am supplying all the credentials. Any solution?
